Who Are We
We believe every woman has the power to shape her future, lead with purpose, and change the world and we’re here to make sure she doesn’t have to do it alone.
Where women connect. Where women lead. Where women create change. BPW North Toronto is where professional women come together to do meaningful work, build lasting friendships, and create change that reaches far beyond our own community. As part of BPW Canada and BPW International, our local work is connected to a global movement of women in more than 100 countries. What we do here can travel. A resolution developed by our members can move through the BPW network and reach Parliament Hill. Our delegates can take Canadian women’s voices to the United Nations in New York. The conversations we have locally can become part of national and international advocacy. We don’t just talk about change. We work for it.
Equal Pay Because equal work deserves equal opportunity and the gender pay gap is still a reality. Anti-Human Trafficking We raise awareness, amplify the voices of survivors, and advocate for meaningful policy change.
The Commission on the Status of Women We send delegates to the United Nations in New York, bringing Canadian women’s perspectives into global conversations about equality and women’s rights.
Women’s Economic Independence We believe women should have the opportunity to lead, earn, make decisions, and build the lives they choose.
Indigenous Women’s Voices We work to ensure Indigenous women are not simply included in conversations their voices are heard, respected, and valued.
Young BPW Leadership shouldn’t have an age limit. We actively support and develop young women aged 35 and under, creating pathways to leadership at the club, national, and international levels
