As a member you are part of a community of women who show up for each other. You attend monthly meetings, connect with other members, participate in events, and contribute to causes that matter. Some members take on leadership roles, some contribute to advocacy work, and some simply come to learn, connect, and grow. There is no single way to be a member — you bring what you have and you get back more than you expect.

BPW North Toronto holds monthly meetings from September to June. Meetings are held in person and occasionally virtually. Check our Events Calendar for the current schedule, dates, and locations. We also participate in provincial, national, and international events throughout the year.

The club is run by an elected executive committee made up of members who volunteer their time. Members vote on decisions, contribute to committees, and have a say in the direction of the club. Every member has a voice — from the newest joiner to the most experienced leader.

We ask that you show up, participate, and engage. There are no rigid requirements — but the more you put in the more you get out. Members are encouraged to attend meetings, take part in events, and contribute in ways that match their strengths and interests. Above all we ask that you bring your authentic self.

Annual membership is $150 per year running from May to April. All of this fee goes directly to supporting BPW’s work at the Provincial, National, and International level. It is one fee that connects you to a local club, a national federation, and a global network spanning 120 countries.

Your BPW membership moves with you. As a member of BPW you are automatically connected to clubs across Canada and around the world. If you move to a new city you can transfer your membership to a local club in your new area and pick up right where you left off.

When you join BPW North Toronto you are automatically also a member of the Provincial, National, and International organizations. This means you are entitled to attend events, receive communications, and contribute to policy development at every level — all included in your single annual fee. What you do here in North Toronto is connected to a much larger conversation happening across Canada and around the world.

Young BPW is for members aged 35 and under. It is a pathway for younger women to take on leadership roles, connect with peers, and have their voices heard at the club, national, and international level. If you are 35 or under you are automatically part of Young BPW when you join. Your perspective matters and there is a seat at the table for you.

If you are a woman who wants to connect with other professional women, grow as a leader, advocate for change, and be part of something bigger than yourself — yes. BPW North Toronto welcomes women at every career stage, from every background, and from every walk of life. You do not need to have it all figured out. You just need to show up.
