Red Dress Day honours the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+) and raises awareness of the systemic violence and discrimination affecting Indigenous communities across Canada. The day encourages reflection, education, and action toward justice, reconciliation, and the safety and dignity of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people.
